Second Anniversary of First Ski Descent of K2
On July 22nd 2018, a Polish ski mountaineer clicked into his bindings at an altitude of 8,611m to make skiing and mountaineering history.
Red Bull has released a new film to commemorate the occasion, The Impossible Descent.

PlanetSKI was in Chamonix at the time with the British mountaineer, Alan Hinkes, who has climbed K2 and the other 8,000m peaks in the Himalayas.
Alan is the first and remains the only, British mountaineer to have climbed all 14 Himalayan eight-thousanders.
