The duties of this dream job include hiking the entire 2,000 mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, sleeping under the stars, creating social media content, and of course, drinking beer.

The perks of the position of Chief Hiking Officer include a $20,000 stipend, free backpacking gear, a free flight to the trailhead, promotional parties and of course, free beer. To qualify for the position, applicants must be experienced hikers, craft beer aficionados, social media experts, and prepared to spend around six months backpacking the Appalachian Trail in 2021.
