In this episode of experiMENTAL we work with the Esker Japhy and make some tweaks to see if we can unlock some hidden potential in this bike. These modifications dropped the weight down to 30.4 lbs. Not bad! Esker has some noteworthy features packed into the Japhy: quad butted tubing, slack head angle, external cable routing, modern reach, mounts for a ton of bags, adjustable chainstays (able to go singlepseed), room for 29+ (on paper), and a great price. Note: the price has increased since the date this video was filmed.
