At first glance ‘Lake District Bouldering’ is well presented and high quality. Due to the book being pretty hefty, it isn’t great for carrying around if you’re packing light! Even so, this is a minor inconvenience considering the amount of content (over 3000 problems from more than 70 venues!).
In terms of finding bouldering venues to visit, the guide is very user-friendly. There is a clear map at the front organising the boulders into area, corresponding with the page numbers so you can find exactly what you are looking for with ease.
