One dish that we ALWAYS eat during Chinese New Year is Nian Gao (年糕), also known as New Year Cake. We typically buy this cake ready made and fry it up, but this year we decided to try making it from scratch. So in this video we show you how to make Chines New Year Cake. The recipe is really very simple and only has 4 it is where it can get a bit complicated.
