The weather is getting nicer here in Ontario, which means we are finally getting out more with the bikes. With a couple of bikepacking trips coming up and a nice challenge (which we will be sharing soon), we are trying to get out and ride as much as possible! Plus, our lockdown has now been extended to June we are pretty limited and what we can do. In this video we decided to check out the Cambridge to Paris Rail trail which is local to us. This trail was originally an electric train line that was built in 1915. In the 1960's it was converted from electric to diesel locomotives, and then in 1994 it became a rail trail that is used for hiking and biking! It 18km long (one way) and runs right along the Grand River, giving you some amazing and relaxing scenic views. This trail is also connected to a series of other trails that span through Hamilton, Brantford, Paris, and Cambridge. If you wanted to bike the full trail line, it runs 77km! ---------- FOLLOW US!
